Bennett Jones is pleased to welcome James McDermott to the partnership. Jim joins the firm as a corporate partner in the Toronto office.

Jim's practice is focused on all aspects of commercial real estate purchases, sales and financings, including structuring and forming joint ventures, trusts and partnerships for the holding of real estate in Canada and abroad. He represents real estate developers, lenders, investors and owners. Jim also represents private sector clients in the formation, implementation and administration of public-private partnerships.

Jim frequently presents at industry seminars on recent developments in real estate law.
