Cormark Securities Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Kofman as Vice-Chairman. Mr. Kofman is a leading advisor on mergers & acquisitions and complex financings in Canada.

Mr. Kofman has run an independent advisory firm since leaving UBS Securities Canada Inc., where he was Vice-Chairman and Managing Director. He was previously a partner at the law firm of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt in Toronto and in London, England.

Mr. Kofman has served on the Board of numerous public companies, and is currently a director of Argonaut Gold Inc. and Chairman of ZENN Motor Company Inc. He is a qualified lawyer in Canada and in England. He is a graduate of Queen's University.
