Bennett Jones LLP is pleased to welcome Claire Kennedy to the partnership. Claire joins the firm’s Tax Department in Toronto.

Claire’s experience includes advising domestic and international clients on tax matters relating to acquisitions, financings, reorganizations, restructurings and the establishment of private equity and debt funds. She also represents clients during tax and transfer pricing audits, and disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Claire received her BASc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and her LL.B from Queen's University. She clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada. In 2007, Claire received the Arbor Award for outstanding volunteer service to the University of Toronto and remains actively involved in several of the university's associations.
